Installation instructions
The installation here is very simple, we’ll do it in one paragraph!
Download the Rainbow Folders program, for example. We unpack the archive using any archiver, for example WinRAR. Find the Setup.exe file and run it. Fortunately, the installation wizard there is very simple, so we just constantly agree with everything and click “Next”. You won't see any shortcut on your desktop; this program works in a slightly different way.
How to use
We find the folder that we want to recolor in a different color. For these operations, I created a new folder on the desktop called “Test”:
As you can see, for now it has a standard color. Now we will change it! To do this, right-click on the folder and select “Rainbow Folders”:
If you don’t see such an inscription, it means you installed the program incorrectly or you have the wrong operating system. And if everything worked out, then this window will open:
Now I will explain a little which option is responsible for what. In the “Preview” window we can see what our folder will look like after editing. In the drop-down list of the “Style” panel, we can select the type of folder (there are 3 options in total for different versions of Windows, you can choose any one that seems more attractive to you).
