The costs of the compared platforms excluding Nvidia discrete graphics are almost equal; adding the GT 730/740 increases the cost of the Intel platform, but both platforms still fall into the price range of 26,000 - 32,000. Obviously, the configurations we have chosen do not meet even the minimum requirements stated by the game developers, so in this case we should expect low performance, insufficient for good playability.

Game settings and testing methodology

It should be immediately noted that it was not possible to run the test on the graphics integrated into the Intel Core i3: the game produced artifacts.

The difference between pictures at standard and minimum quality settings is visually noticeable. At minimum settings the quality drops noticeably.

Testing methodology

Our goal is to demonstrate what a player feels in real gameplay, so for benchmarking we simply play the game, including FPS counters (using FRAPS software) to give a rough idea of ​​performance.

Test results

Unfortunately, it was not possible to record videos demonstrating performance on a particular platform (in different modes) using software due to the complete blocking of the keyboard (except for the keys allocated for gameplay) on the game side - as a result, it is not possible to start and stop recording gameplay . We recorded the gameplay using a video camera, so all videos are presented in Full HD resolution (in video camera mode):

Hitman company Square Enix has published the system requirements for the PC version of the game. Information about the required computer configuration appeared on the stealth action game's page on the Steam store.

To run the game, users will only need a PC equipped with an Intel Core i5-2500K processor with a clock frequency of 3.3 GHz or an AMD Phenom II X4 940, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870 video card and 8 GB of RAM. It should be noted that the recently released Rise of the Tomb Raider on this platform has more modest requirements in the case of all three components. A less powerful PC is also required for Fallout 4.

Those who plan to play at high graphics settings will need a computer equipped with an Intel Core i7-3770 processor clocked at 3.4 GHz or an AMD FX-8350 clocked at 4 GHz and a graphics accelerator no worse than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or AMD Radeon R9 290. According to the recommended requirements, Hitman matches last year's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Assassin's Creed Syndicate, although an AMD Radeon R9 280X is recommended for the latter.

The beta version of the game on PlayStation 4 and PC is about 4.7 GB. It is worth keeping in mind that the published requirements refer to “beta” and may change before the official premiere.

Access to the challenge will only be available to users who pre-order one of the bundles on offer - the Intro Pack for $14.99 or The Full Experience for $59.99. As an additional early purchase bonus, players will receive the Requiem Blood Money Pack DLC, which includes the costume from the final mission of Hitman: Blood Money, explosives and an ICA-19 pistol.

Hitman will be distributed according to the serial model. On March 11, the first part of the content will go on sale - the prologue and missions in Paris, included in the Intro Pack. Then, mission packs will appear every month in the remaining countries (Italy, Morocco, Thailand, USA and Japan). Each of these chapters can be purchased individually by Starter Set owners for $9.99, while a subscription that includes all planned content will cost $49.99.

In the Russian section of Steam, the starter set is offered for 330 rubles, the full game for 1,299 rubles. On the PlayStation Store, the price of the Intro Pack is 899 rubles, and The Full Experience is 3,199 rubles. Prices in the Russian segment of the Xbox Store have not yet been indicated.
